The life span of this roads constructed nowadays are less than two years and when they are done. In some areas drainages are disregarded while in some areas drainages are contructed like reservoire storing surface water beacuse it is not properly slopped to level.
ReplyDeleteConcrete pavement should be considered now in our road construction projects due to its durability although costly at the short run. If the cement industry is sincerely reducing its prices and not a scam to trick us in being an entrepreneur, and then making overnight u-turn of hike in price. Then there should be paradigm shift from bituminous pavement to concrete pavement. Every year budgets on road construction that does not last long is alarming. All our roads worst and pose damage to commuters and pedestrian. Federal and State government should drive this cause to save lives and degradation of roads.
